On May 8, 1943, the United States Army Air Corps approved the B3 flight jacket. As a successor to the B2, the B3 was suitable for the unheated, open-cockpit aircraft of the time. The B3 has a rich sheepskin fur, which is a good material for cold weather in that era, and the obvious points are the reinforced upper arm patch and the belt that can be tightened, simple and strong. After the use of B3, the leather of each piece will show different changes, giving people a beautiful memory. This is something that later nylon jackets could not have.
